IYou prototype
iYou is a plugin concept developed for iTunes in collaboration with Niels Schrader and Bert Kommerij.
The first demo I build was presented in 2010 for the Dutch Mediafonds and Sandberg Institute for their masterclass Mediafonds@Sandberg.
Awarded with an additional budget for further development was initiated with Waag Society and a new release developed together with Laurens Schuurkamp, at Waag Society, was presented early 2011 at Pixelache in Helsinki.
The plugin indexes communication patterns based on decryption and analysis of the binary backup files of the iPhone on the computer. Confronting the user with otherwise unconscious behaviour.
Further development and implementation is now accomplished by Niels Schrader and Bert Kommerij in cooperation with Waag Society and software developer Michał Ejdys and progress can be found at the official website.
